Change of majors for Dodge College require the completion of a Dodge "Change of Major" application and department approval. Any student is allowed to apply for a change of major at any time; however, we highly encourage you to turn in all necessary paperwork at least four weeks in advance of the semester registration date in order to be notified of the decision prior to organizing your class schedule.

Inter-University Change of Major
Inter-University change of major applies to students who are already enrolled at Chapman, but are not currently in Dodge College. It is important to note that students at Chapman are not guaranteed admission to any program within Dodge. The application process is very competitive, with limited space available in each major. Chapman students are treated equally with transfer students applying from outside the University.

Inter-Dodge Change of Major
Inter-Dodge change of major applies to students who are already enrolled at Chapman and currently have a major within Dodge College, but would like to change to a different major with Dodge. As stated on the original supplemental application when students apply to Dodge:

Admission into one major does not guarantee
admission into another major within Dodge.

All Dodge students seeking to change their major must submit an application for department approval. If you are applying for film production, no matter your current major, you must complete the full Inter-University application.

Minor Application
Students wishing to add a minor in public relations, advertising, television or broadcast journalism will need to complete and turn in this brief application. We will review your application and notify you as to whether or not your request has been approved.
