Virtual Production Office
The Dodge College of Film and Media Arts is dedicated to helping students with their production and post-production needs. The Virtual Production Office, or VPO, is a web-accessible resource where students can get information, post crew calls, ask questions, download forms, link to other websites and much, much more.

WHAT'S NEW ON THE VPO? September 2009
SCREEN ACTORS
Dodge College has actors enrolled who are available for good roles in advanced-level productions and receive course credit for being in these films.
NEW RESOURCES ON THE MANUALS PAGE
New tutorials have been created for the new Panasonic HD cameras the school has recently purchased which use the AVCHD codec. They have been added to our Dodge College Avid Tutorial. There is support for the Panasonic cameras which use P2 media as well.
Also check out the new ProTools video tutorials created by our very own Dan Pavelin. These tutorials are designed specifically for the way we use Protools on our productions. Check them out and learn Protools the easy way.
If you will be involved with production this semester, stay current with the recently updated Production Handbook to make sure you thoroughly understand Dodge College’s policies and procedures. It includes updated information on insurance, the greenlight process, permits, using SAG actors, reimbursals, equipment and stage reservations, and much, much more. All production students, graduate and undergraduate, are bound by the policies detailed in the Production Handbook and are expected to have read it thoroughly.
PUT YOUR SCRIPT ON THE SCRIPT BANK
Find the Script Bank on the Dodge College Information Group (DIG). The DIG is a constant source of material for Advanced Production and was the source of several terrific Senior Thesis scripts just last year. Post your script and interested filmmakers will contact you. You will still have final say on granting permission to shoot the script. Don't let your scripts go to waste.
