WHAT'S NEW ON THE VPO?  April 2008

DIGITAL DELIVERY HELP
New Guidelines for Spring 2008 have been posted outlining the deliverables required at every level of production. Instructions on how to deliver these items digitally has also been provided. Digital delivery of all Dodge College productions will eventually lead to the ability to view many of the productions on-line.   link

MANUALS
The newly updated Production Handbook has been posted at the top of the Manuals page.  The Production Handbook contains all of the policies and procedures of the Dodge College relevant to student productions.  It includes information on the Greenlight process, insurance, permits, using SAG actors, safety on set, reimbursals, delivery requirements, equipment and stage reservations, and much, much more.  It has been fully revised to reflect policies as they apply to all Marion Knott studios facilities.  All production students, graduate and undergraduate, are bound by the policies detailed in the Production Handbook and are expected to have read it thoroughly.   link

There is also a brand new Dodge College Academic Guide written specifically for our students.  It will help you with advising, degree requirements, student life at Dodge College, and more.  Check it out as well as the all new version of the Dodge College Avid Manual.  The only manual that shows and tells you exactly what you need to know to edit your projects at Dodge College.   link

NEW "LOCATIONS" PAGE!
The brand new Locations page contains a comprehensive guide on finding, securing, and managing locations for your student productions and soon will include a database of locations used previously in student films with photos and contact information.   link

BIGGER "DIG"!
The Dodge College Information Group (DIG) has been expanded and is now shared by acting students from the theater department, so you can post casting notices that Chapman actors can read and actors can post headshot and resumes that Dodge College filmmakers can check out.   link
