The Dodge College of Film and Media Arts has Manuals specifically written to meet our students needs including the Production Handbook , a tremendous resource of information, policies, and procedures specific to the Dodge College production environment.  Every production student should read it in its entirety.

There is also an Avid manual written specifically for Avid users at the Dodge College.  It is simple, plainly written, and copiously illustrated.  It covers all basic editing functions and workflow issues specific to Avid.  Every student who will be editing should read it in its entirety. In addition , we have posted many of the manufacturer’s manuals for both production and post-production equipment. All manuals are posted in PDF format and can be downloaded onto any computer and printed.
